For the velocities coming out of that shotgun, I don't think cutting 2 or 3" off will affect accuracy much. Still, I dont think cutting it down will make it a more effective "brush gun".

It left a hollow hole in the rib at the front which I carefully had to solder a thin steel piece into with low temp solder. You can melt the solder that holds the barrels together with too much heat! The gun ended up shooting dead on.
