This means that the issue is widespread and is impacting a large number of people that purchased the game. It could be a one way transfer from online to offline only for people who dont like waiting in game creation screen or deal with randomly generated maps. I dont see any down side with that feature. Offline you can always use /playersX to farm NM, although you won't get some of the higher bases. SSF D2 is my favorite Diablo experience. There is a huge sense of accomplishment and hard fought progression that a game like D3 just doesnt have.
