Headed ~3mi up the trail to the junction with the Rock Creek Tie trail. The first mile or so was slightly overgrown. WebJul 1, 2024 · The Chiwawa River trail was muddy and wet after an afternoon thunderstorm and had 22 trees down across it. There are a few small washouts and the trail is overgrown to the point where you can't see where you are stepping in a lot of places. Lots of alder creeping over the tread. Both trails were snow free.
